Nimbin Local Attractions
Tucked away in the hills west of Byron Bay, Nimbin was once a sleepy little dairying village in a lush setting of farmland and forest. Today, Nimbin is known the world over as Australia’s most famous hippie destination and alternative lifestyle capital.
Nimbin Candle Factory: Nimbin Candles is an Australian Candle manufacturer, specialising in Non-toxic, hand dipped, traditionally made candles. The factory is located in the historic Nimbin Butter Factory, located in the alternative town of Nimbin in NSW Australia.
Nimbin Bowlo: A community sports club dedicated to the social and sporting enjoyment of people living in and around Nimbin and the people who chose to visit. Nimbin on the Green restaurant. Live music Thursday to Saturday. Pick up and drop off into nimbin from cabin.
Nimbin Hotel: Entertainment Thursday to Sunday: Local craft brews, great pub fare, live entertainment located on the main street of town.
Nimbin Markets: Wednesday afternoons: Open air shopping is a favourite pastime in the Rainbow Region.
Djanbung Gardens: Purpose designed as a permaculture education centre and living learn-scape, the gardens demonstrate diverse ways permaculture can be applied to practical living, working and production systems.
Nimbin Artists Gallery: The gallery exhibits a huge range of works from over 100 artists living in and around Nimbin.

Protesters Falls: Protesters Falls walking track leads through superb World Heritage rainforest before arriving at spectacular waterfalls in Nightcap National Park, near Lismore.
Mt Warning Rainforest Park: The Park is situated at the entrance to the World Heritage Listed Mt Warning National Park, or Wollumbin, as the original inhabitants of the land call the mountain.
